Who are we and what are we doing?

The Leuchars Community Drama Group (LCDG) is a registered Scottish Charity (SC038059) which is staffed by the ‘Crew’ made up of volunteers and a fully qualified Drama Tutor. The ‘Cast’ are made up children aged 5 years and upwards.  The Drama Group meets every Wednesday evening between 6pm and 9pm in the RAF Leuchars Community Centre during School Term time.

The children performed a Pantomime, 'Oh Shrek.....They've kidnapped Santa', at Christmas in the Blyth Hall, Newport.  Despite the atrocious weather, the children put on a wonderful Show for their families which was as a result of all their hard work in a short period of time.

We have seen a drop in numbers due to the comings and goings at the Base, which has made it difficult to plan a Show for the summer, but hopefully things will pick up as new personnel come in.  We are delighted to welcome Helen Francis who, as a Graduate in Drama, has volunteered to help Isla, our Drama Tutor.

We are always more than happy to take on more volunteers and Management Committee Members – without sufficient numbers of both, the Group would be unable to operate efficiently.

Fife's Got Talent

This year's Heats will be held in St Andrews, Glenrothes and Dunfermline, due to the continued sell-out success of the last two years.  Come along and join in the fun (even if you only want to watch).  Full details can be found at www.fifesgottalent.com
